Attention Deficiency Hyperactivity Disorder Management
We are lucky to have many special schools and therapies to promote the wellbeing of differently abled children of our society. Yet sometimes the children with Attention Deficiency Hyperactive Disorder are not treated properly and are being discouraged from many physical activities because the parents are doubtful about the children’s abilities and potentialities.
There are many internationally famed sports persons, musicians, actors, politicians etc. who have emerged from childhood ADHD. So at a certain level ADHD can be managed and channelized into a positive direction in order to lead a normal life through proper nurture, even though nature posed against them.
There is a misconception that Martial Arts will make more aggressive ADHD children, but in reality the effect of martial arts make them more focused, disciplined, goal oriented and finally more confident in their day to day activities. It is proven that the physical activities induce neural activities and help overall motor and cognitive development. Hence we are focusing more on martial arts activities in our ADHD management program along with counselling, acupressure etc.
ADHD condition is unique. Each individual needs special training modules according to his or her level of ADHD conditions.
